358 EDW Database Developer (Contractor or Perm)
The position is also responsible for working with corporate data for decision making and strategy advancement with a primary focus on designing and implementing a new part of the Enterprise Data Warehouse that doesn’t exist today. Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, and Analysis Services is the standard technology stack for create this new segment, and other database artifacts. Prepared data will utilized by our business users to answer critical strategic questions and continuously enhance our trading partner reporting platforms.
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of professional information systems experience with passion for data.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience coding with Microsoft SSIS (or other ETL tool) to load a data warehouse.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience coding with SQL Server.
- Experience with software development and data quality best practices
- Ability to produce design documentation
- Ability to analyze data and produce solution proposals
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Proven interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in performance tuning in a SQL environment
- Experience in Dimensional and Entity-Relational data modeling
- Experience with design and development of Microsoft Analysis Services Tabular Cubes
- Experience working in a highly available environment a plus
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent work experience
